On July 19, 2017 our founder and friend Mario Lamia Rizzo of Margate NJ  age 78 passed away

​

Born in Sicily, Italy, Mario moved to Philadelphia Pa with his family looking for the American Dream.

In 1963 his dream became reality when Mario's Cold Cuts in Pine Hill opened for business.

Mario not only served food to the public for over 30 years, he was everyone's friend.

Mario's kind and generous heart was always on display from friends who knew him to complete strangers, he always treated you like family. If a sandwich cost 75 cents and you only had 50 cents, no problem Mario took care of his customers.

Mario was a true Pine Hill Icon who will sorely be missed by all who knew him.
